GWDR Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Founded on May 16, 2002, GWDR has been dedicated to the R&D and production of power automation products, excelling in project integration and maintenance services for power automation systems. The company has conducted impactful research on reliable power supply and automation technologies for transportation infrastructure, including highways, large-scale bridges, long tunnels, and airport apron lighting. 

With a strategic vision and a focus on technological innovation, GWDR has developed numerous high-tech products with independent intellectual property rights, holding 18 patents and 41 software copyright registrations. Its self-developed products, such as the LSA power automation monitoring platform, communication management units, high-voltage protection and control devices, low-voltage intelligent power distribution systems, and LCP long-distance power supply systems, are widely used in transportation projects across China, meeting diverse power management needs and earning high praise from users. GWDR has also received multiple government accolades, including recognition as a National High-Tech Enterprise in 2012, following awards from the Nanjing Science and Technology Bureau in 2005 and the Jiangsu Science and Technology Department in 2007, with continuous certification as a National High-Tech Enterprise.

     Committed to enhancing product and service quality, the  company has mature manufacturing capabilities and holds  professional contracting qualifications in electronics, intelligent systems, and mechanical-electrical installations. In 2010, GWDR achieved certification under GB/T 50430-2007, the Quality Management Standard for Construction Enterprises.

Over the years, GWDR has contributed to highway andtunnel projects across China, from the Coastal Expressway in the east to the Hainan Island Ring Expressway in the south, the Sailimu Lake to Guozigou Expressway in the west, and the Hegang to Dalian Expressway in the north. Its involvement in major bridge projects includes cross-sea bridges such as Shenzhen Bay, Zhoushan Mainland-Island Link, Hangzhou Bay, and Jiaozhou Bay, as well as significant Yangtze River bridges like Chongqing Yudong, Egongyan, Caiyuanba, and Chaotianmen; Hubei Badong, Yichang, Jingzhou, Jingyue, Ehuang, and Edong; Wuhan Tianxingzhou and Yangluo; Jiangxi Jiujiang Second Bridge; and Anhui Wangdong, Anqing, Chizhou, Wuhu Second, and Ma’anshan, along with Nanjing’s Fourth Yangtze Bridge, Runyang, Wufengshan, Taizhou, Hutong, Sutong, and Chongqi bridges. 

GWDR has also supported airport apron lighting and power control projects at Guangzhou Baiyun, Kunming Changshui, Hangzhou Xiaoshan, Hefei Xinqiao, and Nanjing Lukou International Airports.GWDR’s presence has been felt at numerous major transportation project sites.

Recognizing that great achievements require strong foundations, the company strategically began researching EV charging technology in 2012. Through dedicated efforts, it developed multiple series of EV charging control modules, earning IATF 16949:2016 certification and supplier qualifications for major automakers like Volkswagen, BYD, GAC Honda, Great Wall, and Chery, with annual shipments exceeding one million units. Embracing a philosophy of mutual benefit, GWDR collaborates closely with leading domestic enterprises to shape a shared future.
