On May 20, the research project Planning Study on the Upgrade of Jiangsu Transportation Information and Communication Network, jointly undertaken by the Jiangsu Provincial Transportation Communication and Information Center and the PLA University of Science and Technology, successfully passed expert evaluation.

       Based on a comprehensive assessment of the current state of Jiangsu’s transportation information and communication network, the project addressed the practical needs of digital transformation in the transportation sector. It provided a detailed analysis of optical cable routing and network topology for the upgrade.

       The research also aligned with the implementation of the national expressway information and communication system integration project, offering access solutions tailored to Jiangsu’s needs. The team proposed a comprehensive upgrade plan, technical roadmap, and implementation strategy, as well as a localized execution plan for the Jiangsu section of the national system.

The project has effectively guided the smooth transition between legacy and new systems, ensuring the successful deployment of related engineering efforts.
